Are the graphics about equivalent to the N64? I can imagine the controls on one would be a pain... Unfortuately, I have to spend the money sooner or later with Pear/Diamond on the way...()

Depends, I love the controlls, you can you the tumb strap, where you stap this little peice of plastic on your thumb and you use it as a stylus. (insted od the stick kind). ANd there is a D pad, I'd give the overall controlls for it about 7/10. The menu screen is cool too, you can customize alarms the color sceme, ect.. I'm also think'n bout getting the PSP in March or when ever it comes out.

Hmm.. I see. I can imagine using your thumb would be alot better than a stylus. X.o() And the only game Iv seen screen shots from is Dash, and it looks REALLY N64-ish. XD; But eh, since there's Pokemon games, I'll probabaly end up with one. Pokemon games are bestest.

<--- Has never been a big fan of Metroid.
Holy crap? Now two more? I thought Emerald was going to be next. Pearl and Diamond? Are there gonna be new Pokemon , Ashley?!
Oh oh , I have soem questions for Austin. I played one because my friend bought one , and I'm wondering if it really does have a drawing thing instuff. ( he didn't let me do anything on it but play my Leaf Green) Does it play old GB games? I was told it does not. But I just wanna make sure it's true from the expert. * points to Austin*
I've been hearing from other people and their opinions , and most of them aren't pretty. My Game nerd friend Zack hates the DS , he says he's not buying one because he thinks they're horrible. No way I can convince him to like on. * shrug* I'm getting one in like 3 weeks. n.n
EDIT: Oh yeah , Ashley. The controls are a pain on it. I was totally stumped when my friend let me play his Metroid Prime Echoes , or what ever it's called on his DS.

Figured they'de be that way. T_T My brother and I had so many jokes about the DS prior to it's release. Just imagining someone playing one... Poking at the bottom with the stylus... just weird. X.o() And Pearl and Diamond are the upcomming games for the DS. They include a new set of Pokemon (to follow the pattern). Emerald has been out for months.

~Well, there are 5 shcudlued games (pokemon) for DS out so far. Unknown Title Dimond Pearl Dash And the Pikachu RPG ~ You can draw if you go into one of the chat rooms, or games like Super Mario 64 DS have a drawing program. ~ About controling Thats the thumb strap, you can use it like an analog stick. And really the controlls arn't that difficult to learn. You have the Standard D-pad, and of course the stylus is hard to hold and play...thats why there is the thumb strap. Your able to do the touch screen things(like the stylus) us the D-pad, L and R triggers, and ABXY buttons all with two hands every easly, you just have too play it an hour or two to get the feel of it

Emerald's Japanese release was months ago. That's one thing I failed to mention. I'll check around some places to see if I can find the U.S. release sometime (I don't really care about U.S. releases, so I never know them. XD) Dash doesn't concern me much, but for the record, Dash comes before P/D. I'm thinking this 'Pikachuu RPG' might be something along the lines of 'Nyaasu no Paatii'. Meaning that it might either be something to show off the DS or won't be released at all. Iv only seen the information on Serebii's site, and I never base all my hopes on Serebii. :/

It's not the technology, but the concept of the DS that continues to scare me. XD; And I'm really curious as to how many sets of Pokemon they can come up with. They still don't have a penguin, though. (Or a hamster!!)
